I am going to share my thoughts on Apollo, Since last week I was working on a sample application, I have developed a simple application using Apollo. Its amazing and as I have mentioned in my previous articles that Apollo is an embodiment for Adobe.
Its a great experience working with that type of technology. As experts says : Apollo is the code name for a cross-operating system runtime being developed by Adobe that allows developers to leverage their existing web development skills (Flash, Flex, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax) to build and deploy rich Internet applications (RIAs) to the desktop. I am very much interested in developing some innovative things in the web world. As of now I am working on some interesting things to rock the web world.
Here is my sample, simple and basic Apollo application:
Description: This sample application depicts the use of new technology called Apollo. The sample application retrieves the required page. The .air file is provided with this article for your reference, and even the entire sample code is also attached, you can make use of the basic things. As I have said this will help developers who wants to learn this new technology, I have used my known existing web development skills like HTML, XML, JavaScript and CSS. Below are the screen shots of my sample, simple and basic Apollo Application.
Screen Shot 1:
Screen Shot 2:
If you double click on the .air file provided, the very first screen will be shown up and if you click on the respective button provided the required sample page comes up, its simple right … yeah it is a simple example. If you guys wants to download the stuff… you are most welcome to do that.
1. Click Here to download .air file.
2. Click Here to download the entire stuff.
So, folks!! Rock the web world with Apollo.
